Share Your Best Campus Visit Story and Win $1,000 Scholarship

College Confidential Competition Invites Submissions

If you’ve had a campus tour recently, as part of your college application process, write it down and submit it to College Confidential. You could win a $1,000 scholarship for your efforts. CC logs thousands of visitors monthly and makes it part of its business to urge prospective students to visit the colleges in which they are most interested. To those ends, reviews of campus visits—written from prospective students—serve as fodder for the charge. You can write about all your visits if you have more than one you’d like to share. Follow the link “Post a Visit Report” to upload your submission(s).

Act quickly, though—the competition closes August 31, 2007.

In order to be considered for an award, you must:

  • Register as a College Confidential user. Membership is free.
  • Be “enrolled in a four-year undergraduate school by the fall of 2008.”
  • Winners must respond to CC within one week of the final announcement.

Need encouragement or ideas? Check out the submissions already posted by students on the site.
